Writing Sample from theProse

Writing Sample from the Prose The following was written for a writing challenge on theprose.com. The prompt was as follows: Grey Wall  Check out the original over at  Grey Wall . Jewel of the Sahara Cover Art

Today I wanted to share some more book cover designs that I made for the Jewel of the Sahara. This was the first book I attempted to write, but was interrupted when I went to grad school. I plan on returning to it someday, because I think it has a solid plot with lots of action. More solid than my current project...Seriously though, there are dangerous beasts, exotic locations, and a lost city. What more could you want in an adventure novel?

For you aspiring writers out there, do not be surprised if you have several aborted projects stacked up before you have one completed manuscript. I think this is pretty common in the writing world. You will also return to these original ideas after you have found success, because by then you will know what to do with them based on experience and new ideas.

Some of these "Covers" were first attempts using Canva, so they may have watermarks or are not finished. Please forgive me...
